I had it worse. I was on a 33.6k modem

I remember once when I was younger I got this spam email too that was a porn dialer and I got busted by my dad because it called out and charged $5 on the phone bill. Probably put a tonne of virus on the computer too. I don't remember what sort of computer it was though it was so long ago (10 years or so ago)

I had a 56k modem. Goddammed A.O.L. It took 5-10 mins just to get the internet up. And if someone used the phone it would disconnect. Screw slow hotmail. You couldnt even get on!!!!!!!! lol @ fisherprice modems.

I'm laughing so hard at this thread right now.

56 K modems? Pentiums? lol

I remember our 386 + xTree Gold + a "B" drive + no internet, upgrade to 486 + windows 3.1 + no internet + CD ROM! + Win95 + 1GB HDD!!!, upgrade to pentium + BURNER! and then the birth of the 14K modem. Diablo + Battle.net FTW!

Oh the memories of using nothing but mIRC and ICQ. There was nothing else. Well there was, but you couldn't load it lol.

Why does the start of the song "American Pie" come into my head right now? It's also playing in Adlib speaker in my head :D
